John McDonald is Australia’s leading arts critic, founder and Editor-in-Chief of Everything the artworld doesn’t want you to know.
A former Head of Australian Art at the National Gallery of Australia (NGA), John is the author of The Art of Australia: Exploration to Federation (2006); has lectured widely on art and cinema; and acted as a curator for a range of exhibitions, the most significant being Federation: Australian art and society, 1901-2000 at the NGA.
