Would really appreciate more reviews of shows in independent galleries in Sydney and other capital cities . While appreciating your sentiments on the lack of govt support for the arts, I am very familiar with this theme and really don’t need to hear it yet again. There are many artists doing interesting work who barely rate a mention anywhere..it would be great if you looked at these .
I'll be on board with the art column again soon. The free editorial is generally more issues-based, and besides, nobody else wants to analyse these things. Re. Darwin, I did three radio interviews in three days! The aim is to do three separate things every week, if possible, that includes a range of art reviews. I'm finding that people read this site for all sorts of reasons. But point taken. J
