The temptation is to feel sorry for Dutton, with his father getting ill in the middle of the campaign, and suffering a humiliating defeat, but his Trumpisms were so blatant & cynical it's hard to make excuses. They all KNOW this Trump stuff is wrong, but they do it anyway.
